Beautiful Inn. We always love staying here. Staff very friendly and accommadating. Clean, comfortable rooms. Short walk to the beach. Close to Ipswich, Rockport and Newburyport. One of my favorite places to stay on the New England coast.

A birthday gift, the Inn was a delight. The Inn is set on the historic Crane Estate. After a fascinating, educational tour of the Estate, the picturesque Inn provided a beautiful relaxing way to end the day.

Room Tip: The Florence room has a beautiful view

My husband and I hosted a luncheon at The Tavern at the Inn at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate during a full day tour of sights outside of Boston for a group of former executives of a major oil company. The Tavern was absolutely perfect, not only for its rustic ambiance and fantastic views, but also because of the incredible attention we received from Camilla Eagan, the Inkeeper at the Inn, in planning our event. While none of our guests stayed at the Inn, itself, we got a chance to see the Inn (along with the mansion and the property). The Inn is beautiful and charming, with spectacular views. I'm hoping to return there someday as a guest with my husband. The entire estate, including the Inn, is definitely worth a visit, and it's perfect for a great weekend get-away. I recommend you visit the website to get a flavor of the Crane Estate at Castle Hill and the Inn . Beautiful.

My wife and I like the Crane Hill Inn very much. Room was nicely decorated and clean. Not over furnished but tasteful traditional, New England, minimalist / shaker feel. Nothing fancy just right.

Felt very peaceful in such a pretty retreat location which was good for fresh air and walking. The main house is stunning as is the long beach.

Breakfast excellent.

We would stay again.

Spent a Friday night in the Burnham suite, which sleeps two in a double bed plus a third in a very comfortable day bed *in another room with its own bathroom*. Much cheaper than two rooms. On the third floor, but the stairs are easy, even for a 78-year-old. The views from the suite are spectacular. Short breakfast menu but first-class food and service. A real gem of a B&B.
