Box Angus beef tenderloin was inedible due to strange taste (bleach?). Parking was off-site. Seems to cater to the Bar crowd, burgers and such (which may very well be good) however, fine dining is not their forte.

this is a great place to sit in the tavern area and enjoy some interesting menu items. It has a down home feel and for us locals a nice place to get a great meal and relax.

When we arrived for our 7pm reservation, the place was packed. They seated us immediately, and we were off.

We ordered a bottle of wine and a round of tapas. Our server seemed confused at the concept of tapas when we told her we were going to get 4 plates now, then order more later. We should have just stayed quiet.

The wine took a while to arrive, but we were enjoying each other's company. There was a party at the next table that had a toddler who was crawling on the floor, all over the place. 1. Don't bring a toddler to a nice restaurant. Get a babysitter or stay home. 2. Don't let your kid loose in a restaurant, exercise some discipline.

Our first round arrived after a long wait. The food was good, but had cooled off, indicating that the kitchen got it out, but the server had taken a long time to get it to us.

It was downhill from there. We had a second round of delicious small plates that again took a lookg time to arrive. By now the place was clearing out. They dropped off dessert, but no utensils to eat it with. Then we waited way too long for the bill.

We saw other tables getting better service, so maybe our server was new. But it put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable evening.

We had a wonderful night at mooncusser's tavern starting with French onion soup. The only down side was that we ordered way too much food. We're used to small plates for tapas and these were big but everything was delicious. We took 2 plates home because we were stuffed! Fun night out and definitely would recommend but take your time, order 1 or 2 tapas and figure out if you h as Ve room for more!

Don't let the name fool you - this is a fine French restaurant with a great atmosphere as well. It is in an old and very interesting house. The bar/tavern area is large enough to accomodate quite a few tables, a U shaped bar & an extra area set aside for live entertainment. The night I was there a person was playing beautiful acoustic guitar music. There is also a dining room on the opposite side of the entry way. There are tables outside for summer weather. The cheese plate for apps is incredible, with a fig compote that is to die for. I ordered a special - Thai roasted wild boar shank. Where can you find a dish like that??? Reservations are a must - even off season.
