We went here because of the wonderful reviews and were sadly disappointed. We reserved and told them we wanted a romantic table as it was our anniversary - but the last booth was given away to the couple in front of us. The food was good, but not remarkable, and the waitress was either new or just not very good because not only was she inattentive, but unable to fill our order for drinks - which we made when the food came. It was, however, quite expensive.

First time here. My wife had the Country Pate. Slices of pork pate on a bread board with a "swipe" of mustard. Accompanied by some homemade pickles and raisin bread toast.
Did not look like much but was quite satisfactory. I had a house salad and a cup of butternut squash bisque garnished with sliced cranberries and sunflower seeds decorating the periphery.. Had a pumpkin creme bruliee for dessert. All was sensational and portions just right and very well presented. Server was Antonella who did a fantastic job. She was quite attentive and friendly. She was able to recite the specials from memory and the dessert choices as well. Not very many servers can do that without a cheat sheet. Cudos all around.

We wanted something special for a 50th birthday dinner. This restaurant was recommended as one of the top restaurants in Harwich. I was surprised and let down to tell you the truth. I shouldn't be after paying exorbitant prices.

If I were to offer management consulting services to this business, I would refocus as a family restaurant, drop prices by 30% and market accordingly. This would then match the facility and level of food being prepared.

PROS:
- Ultra friendly server. She was so nice, cheerful, sincere and kind.

CONS:
- Exorbitantly expensive for mediocre cuisine. Value to money is quite low.
- Relatively few selections in each category (e.g. appetizer, main, etc.).
- Mediocre ambience. Not a high-end decor.
- Skimpy portions. Quite noticeable. Shocking to me in fact.
- Food mediocre, not befitting of fine dining. This would be a good family restaurant if prices were halved.
- It was a special birthday celebration. Although acknowledged with a candle in one of our overpriced, mediocre desserts, the classy thing to do is to comp a drink or even the one dessert. Then again, that would be the classy thing to do.
- By far, the most shocking experience was that my wife's creme brule tasted salty rather than sweet. We took another to tastes and confirmed something was definitely wrong. She swore that something was wrong with it. We told the staff and they acknowledged that the chef was embarrassed that he picked up salt to caramelize the glaze rather than sugar. They apologized and said the chef never made a mistake like this in 4 years. They brought out a new one. I was shocked to see that they charged us for this dessert despite the mistake, the experience, wait for a new one served after everyone was finished. Truly unbelievable! Any other restaurant in my life that has made a mistake has always acknowledged it by comping that plate. This is basic business acumen in the restaurant business.

This is not fine dining nor is it a classy place. A complete letdown from our expectation that this was one of the finest restaurants in Harwich.

Went during restaurant week with several friends. No problem getting a reservation and the table was already when we arrived.
There is a small bar area on your left with a large screen tv, you could eat there if you wanted.
Our server was wonderful, personable, knowledgeable and very helpful with suggestions and recommendations.
The food here is all prepared by the chef and his staff.
I had the ravioli that were a true delight. The pasta was paper thin so they focused on ensuring that the flavors of the ingredients came through and were not lost in the pasta.
A small establishment with a great selection of dishes and wines. This is on our list of have to go back restaurants.
