Dropping off my son at Amherst, and spent two nights here solely based on price. The next hotel price point was $30 more per night, plus taxes.
I was checked in by a friendly, courteous trainee and her supervisor, and proceeded to my room. It was clean, appropriately appointed, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was continental, but was fine. Didn't use the pool or fitness room, so have no comment. Every interaction I had with staff/cleaning/desk was great.
If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and functional hotel at which to stay for a quick overnight at a value price point, I'd recommend this HoJo. Understand what you are paying for, and what you are getting. It's unfair to compare this hotel to others that are more higher end.
The rooms are old but the people are very nice and everything is very clean and well maintained. They always have coffee and tea and usually fruit available throughout the day.
Staff was accommodating. The internet was down so that was a problem. Rooms are clean but tired. Needs updating. Reasonable rates and convenient location
