Stopped in for a quick bite and coffee on Saturday morning. The place was packed which is a good sign. Line moved along. Great place for good food and coffee. Would highly recommend if you are traveling through the area. Have large table to accommodate a bigger party as well as outside seating. Stopped in twice on my visit to the area. Great atmosphere.

Get there early for lunch or there will be a line out the door. Healthy food, lots to eat and great choices. They roast their own coffee as well

I go to Esselon Café whenever I can get there and have gotten friends to love it too. It is a family restaurant, great food, fair prices nice atmosphere, inviting place where you can spend the day sipping their terrific coffee, or dining on their terrific foods. They thought of everything--cozy atmosphere, garden to sit in and eat in good weather Obviously it is a favorite hangout and meeting place, people in the area work on their computers and leisurely enjoy. Food is farm to table so local providers. The only thing I have had that I found mediocre is falafel sandwich, not tasty, too bland. There is an evening menu and sunday brunch. What could be better on a beautiful summer sunday then to sit in their park like grounds and enjoy homemade food. The people who own this place really know what they are doing. It is usually crowded but does not detract from the relaxation of being there.

Esselon has a great atmosphere and offers much more than coffee. They have a menu that offers sandwiches, salads, soups, daily specials and a kids menu all fresh and locally sourced. Fresh baked breads and cakes satisfy your sweet cravings. I love a coffee shop that still serves your coffee in a ceramic mug!

I know they serve more than breakfast, but this is one of the go-to places to meet my friends for breakfast or lunch. Very informal--you may share a big table or not. A little loud inside but the porch is wonderful in all weather. And in the warmer months, sitting amongst the flowers or under the trees is a treat. Friendly helpful staff.
