On our way back from our New Hampshire vacation, we visited this Indian restaurant for lunch. They were serving buffet but we ordered from the menu. Ordered a standard set of entrees - saga paneer, Shahi paneer, Aloo chole accompanied by naan, puri and biriyani. Paris were thick and were not great. Biriyani was average, but the curries especially the paneer ones were fabulous. The restaurant has a very simple and unassuming setting /ambience. We were one of the three customers for lunch and the service was reasonable. The only waiter/ manager was responsive but not willing to smile until we got up to leave.

Most places, if you roll in at 2pm, they've put the buffet away, but we needed a place to eat quickly after a long day of appointments, and we decided to try Welcome. We really did feel welcome as soon as we walked in! There were a few other people there, some for take away, but the food was hot, plentiful (they made fresh pakora when we showed up. Coincidence? I do not believe so), with lots of options for a tiny buffet. Plus they brought special potato naan to the table in addition to plain naan offered in the buffet. I can't wait to go back and have more!

I just ate here again for the first time in a long long time. The food was as amazing as we always remembered it. The food was hot, delicious, and really memorable. I would recommend this to anyone who loves Indian cuisine.

The servers were so nice too. This is a really nice place even though it looks like a tiny hole in the wall- BUT IT IS Really Great Food.

A very nicely run business, delicious food!

The restaurant serves very good standard and authentic Indian Food - most items are North Indian except South Indian Dosa varieties. Food tastes like home cooked, freshly cooked without ant short cuts. Many Indian restaurants here have started using tomato catch-up for gravy and this gives a very bad taste to Indian food. Here, such short cuts are not noticed.
Sitting environment is good, decoration is good, service is excellent and behavior is appreciated.
Dal Makhni - $12.50
Shahi Navratan Korma - $ 12.95
Allo Naan - $3.50, 2 nos for $ 7.00
Gobi Paratha - $ 4.25 , 2 nos for $ 8.50
Total including taxes was $43.82.

Rice comes with vegetable and Dal

It is worth considering quality, taste , quantity and authentic north Indian food.

Had not been here for several years but it is as good as I remembered. Wish we had a restaurant like this in Maryland! Excellent service; excellent food. Get a mango lassi, try the spiced tomato soup. And don't forget a naan basket.
