We stayed two weeks here and it's perfect, very easy to find we where met by the owners whom where very nice indeed very helpful.
All facilities there and working, pots n pans all good, tv and sound system all good.
The area is not over looked and you have no neighbours as such so the name of the is relax!!
It has a very nice covered veranda which is fab to eat out on but we had to take a couple of wooden chairs out from the utility room there are metal seats there but to be honest me botty hasn't been that small for years and didn't think Ryanair would appreciate me bringing my own seat.
The pool well outstanding. ... and large loved it still swimming at 18:30 ideal.
Most windows have mozzie screens so you can actually open them and the flying beasts can't get in. . Result!
There is actually 3 supermarkets in town a pingo and cheaper local one by the round a bout on the way into town from castro verdie and a very local one centre of town, the town itself really comes to life on a Saturday its quite bustling then.
All in all the villa is relaxing and tranquil.
Things to lookout for!
When leaving villa the junction to get onto the main road is trickie not much vision ao take carw here.
Villa doors beware they will close behind you and lock you out you have to ring owner to let you in. They do warn you but it doesn't always go in you have no opening handles on out side of door similar to a yale lock. Put door keys in outside of door when you go outside.
For the 2nd week the owners of the builders yard next door put a dog in the yard with an irritating high pitch bark come yelp which went on from dusk till dawn most nights in the 2nd week on the first 3 nights it barked constantly then calmed down abit. I know it's Portugal we have stayed rural and in town all over Portugal and you do get dogs barking but this one was a bit much for three nights.
Didn't spoil the stay just a bit irritating. Felt more sorry for the dog really. However I would stay here again as it is a lovely place to stay.
