We really enjoy the Wee Packet and go there each year when we visit Cape Cod. The food has always been good and the waiter and waitresses are usually fun and friendly. We went for dinner one night and for breakfast one morning. The hot lobster roll is really good -- all lobster meat and not fillers. Other good dinners are the Scallops Nantucket and Fish n Chips, and the Broiled Seafood Medley. For an Irish meal, the Dublin Mixed Grill is very good.

I had a fantastic experience at The Wee Packet. It was the first time I have ever been there and boy, was I missing out on a great experience. From the quaint ambiance, the waiter, Daniel from Romania, to the food. The seafood items are the most popular items on the menu, therefore I wanted to make sure I tried some. I decided on the surf and turf, which was two large pieces of steak tips along with two good size crabcakes. Both items were cooked to perfection. It's nice to know that even though they specialize in seafood, they did a great job with the steak tips.

Had a great dinner at the Wee Packet, an Irish, American and Seafood restaurant in Dennis Port, after work on the Friday before Columbus Day, the day the restaurant closes for the season. Waiter Daniel from Moldavia told us they were out of a few items, including salmon, but there was still plenty of things to choose from on their extensive menu. I was surprised that there were no traditional vegetables on the menu anywhere. I was charged for a broiled tomato I saw on another entree to go with my seafood medley. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their dinners and the one chowder eater declared it his personal best.
.
They have full bar service. The restroom was tiny but serviceable and spotlessly clean. We sat in the light and airy enclosed front porch area. There is extensive seating in the main part of the building. The decor is first class Cape Coddish; every corner has something cute to look at.
.
While it might be convenient to pull into one of the parking spaces right in front of the restaurant, it can be challenging backing out into traffic. There is plenty of parking to the left and in back. The gift shop, in a separate building out back, was closed when we arrived.
.
After dinner, we drove down to the nearest beach to catch the last glimmer of sunlight on the sand and surf. Best dessert anyone could ask for.
.
Hope to see you at the Wee Packet when it reopens next year.

The Wee Packet restaurant has been serving breakfast on Cape Cod for almost seventy years! Tastefully decorated with many old ship artifacts, this is a great place to start your summer morning. Dave and his crew offer an extensive breakfast menu offering real Irish soda bread and homemade muffins. The food is always hot and fresh and affordable. They offer seating both inside and out which is great on a hot summer's day. After you have enjoyed your breakfast, why not let mom browse in their cute gift shop across the parking lot.
