How can you not go to The Capitol Grille for lunch during Dine Out Boston???
We went and the place was hopping at lunch but we got a seat with out reservations in about 10 minutes after putting our name in. Next time I will call or go at 2:30 when the crowd has left....
Meals: Apps: Wedge salads with super blue cheese dressing and fresh bacon bits.
Entrees: Citrus Glazed Salmon for Judy and their sirloin salad for me..
Desert: Crème brulee and Flourless Expresso cake...
So full we have to decide whether to go again this summer but for $20 each how could you not....We will return..

I met a friend here for dinner and we both wanted to eat something light. I ordered a salad and tuna tartare. The salad was okay and the tuna tartare was not that good. I'm sure if I ordered a steak my rating would be higher than average, however, a restaurant with this kind of reputation should have great food all around.

Came here for family bday dinner on Saturday. The parking lot was pretty pack so it was busy inside the restaurant. We had a private room for bday dinner. The host was really polite and attentive to our needs. We ordered the Grand plateau seafood. The seafood was really good except for a couple of the oysters that was dry. The host gladly replaced some of the dry oysters with better ones. The lobster bisque and clam chowder was flavorful. Ordered 22 oz bone in ribeye with side of mash potatoes, lobster Mac n cheese and
Brussell sprouts with bacon. The lobster Mac and cheese were really good. The steak cooked perfectly. The host was nice enough to take time out to take picture for us. Service was excellent.

We had a very good server, Santos, who was very attentive and personable. We tried their lunch plates. The mushroom bisque was very good , but the clam chowder seemed to be fish broth versus clam broth. It's not as good as Legal Seafoods chowder. My wife had the chicken with rissoto. The chicken was dry, but rissoto was good. I had shrimp and grits. The applewood bacon in the grits was very tasty and added a smokyness to the dish, while the shrimp was over cook and needed a knife to cut them. We've eaten in the past, special occasions and have never been disappointed, but this was disappointing.

Exceptional service from the time of the valet parking upon arrival to the time of departure.
Couple the service with wonderful food. They actually know how to cook seafood rare in the same fashion as their steaks!
Great for business lunch. It can be quick or leisurely.
I’ll be there next week, as always.
