If you love baseball in cozy little parks this is one of those places. Needs to utilized more the city league champions and city and regional teams should play there also. Great place just a waste it is not used mor often.

The stadium is very conveniently located and is good to bring the family to for a baseball game. There are also usually fireworks after the games, especially in the summer, which is always fun!

check the Brockton Rox Website for schedules....www.brocktonrox.com they are currently (June 2015) playing in the FCBL, which is college age ball-players. the stadium is great for baseball, anywhere you sit is a great seat. the concessions are good, too....you can get typical ball park food here....the most popular seems to be the chicken plate with French fries

Campanelli Stadium [CS] sits virtually next to Marciano Field, the football venue for Brockton [MA] High School, one of the largest high schools- if not the largest- in New England.

Brockton HS has sent a multitude of student-athletes on to major college programs, and also has a major boxing tradition with Rocky Marciano and Marvelous Marvin Hagler most notable.

The stadium simply adds to that great legacy, and has hosted college and minor league pro baseball, in addition to serving as the home field for the local HS team. Currently it offers HS playoff games, as the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Assn [MIAA] chose it as one of the baseball sites.

There is no bad seat and a capacity of about 6000, so little danger of a sellout denying you a chance to see a game. It is suitable for a family outing- no issues with restrooms or food concessions- and has plenty of parking within walking distance.

The only drawback is that it is near a Shaw's Supermarket Administrative Center, and Shaw events sometimes force CS patrons to more remote parking at the HS. Even then, the walk is only a bit further and a minor annoyance.

In sum, tough to beat for a baseball fan and an easy drive for anyone in south suburban Boston.
