We took the kids here for a fun dinner. We went at 5 on the weekend and it was quiet when we arrived but zoo like by the time we were leaving. Service was “efficient”, chef was entertaining and food was good/fresh, though we stuck with standard steak and chicken. It was sort of amazing to see how much oil/butter they used, but assume that’s standard in most restaurants, you just don’t see it!

Would agree with the other reviews that the physical restaurant could use an upgrade...the entry fountain, the carpet, the window treatments. It’s all pretty tired.

Our service seemed rushed by the end of the night when it was clear the hostess was giving the server a talking to for not turning the table fast enough, so I can see how others might end up with poor experiences if you were seated at a time when they wanted to move the tables quickly.

Overall a decent experience. The kids really liked it and ate tons of veggies. All in all a pretty good dinner, but we would probably try other hibachi restaurants first before going back again.

Picked this place as a good meeting point for a couples get together. Poor service, awful food, when we asked why we didn’t get our salads they said they didn’t have anymore bowls. They probably were hoping we would forget. They brought some salads out after a while into the meal but after the meal not all people still got them. No ice in some drinks. Food was sooo bad. No flavor. Yuck! We didn’t get a choice of the complimentary Saki. Other tables did. Rushed us out while some people were still eating and before we could tell them we were celebrating two birthdays our checks were delivered with the gratuity included. No fortune cookies!! Omg! It was such a bad meal. We did not tell management we just wanted to get out of the place’s sticky disgusting rug and rat box monitoring stations and all. I was one of the birthday girls celebrating and it was such a disappointment. If it wasn’t for this place’s location this place would have to be out of business based on service, quality and cleanliness!! i work too hard for my money to waste itnon this place! Ewwe!!!

This restaurant actually does not serve Japanese shabu shabu- it's Chinese style hot pot. If you are looking for an authentic Japanese experience this is not it. Having said that the hot pot was ok. They have the ability to divide the broth into two sections so the table can order to different broths. The tables are very small so they fit maximum 4 people - best if its two adults and two kids. It would be very hard to fit four taller adults as there is very little room for your knees because of the table design. The teppanyaki section of the restaurant seemed very popular and they have more table top grills that I've seen anywhere else so next time we will skip the hot pot and try that instead.

The selection was wide.
The chef show was interesting.
You get a lot of food.

Others had filet mignon and scallops.
Chicken.
Very good.
The service was quick and friendly.
