We took the kids here for a fun dinner. We went at 5 on the weekend and it was quiet when we arrived but zoo like by the time we were leaving. Service was “efficient”, chef was entertaining and food was good/fresh, though we stuck with standard steak and chicken. It was sort of amazing to see how much oil/butter they used, but assume that’s standard in most restaurants, you just don’t see it!
Would agree with the other reviews that the physical restaurant could use an upgrade...the entry fountain, the carpet, the window treatments. It’s all pretty tired.
Our service seemed rushed by the end of the night when it was clear the hostess was giving the server a talking to for not turning the table fast enough, so I can see how others might end up with poor experiences if you were seated at a time when they wanted to move the tables quickly.
Overall a decent experience. The kids really liked it and ate tons of veggies. All in all a pretty good dinner, but we would probably try other hibachi restaurants first before going back again.
