Pleasant way to spend some time. Plenty of places to eat. We did have to pay to park even though we were just trying to get a feel for the area

Thus is one of my favorite places either to grab a bite, have a cup of coffee, go to the movies or all of them. The shopping is ok too as they have a couple of unique places. Good parking availability, places to walk and roam around a nice way to spend an leisurely sfternoon

Excellent food, though the service was a bit slow. We ate various tapas, including individual chicken and vegetables paellas....it was very delicious!

Tried out one of the many restaurants around there. It wasn't very busy at all during the lunch hour on a weekday. There is the main public library, as well as many shops and eating establishments.

Where are the people?

A very hip crowd; lots of families and young professionals. Very entertaining in the evenings with different activities.

We've lived in Rockville more than 25 years and are thrilled by the evolution of Rockville Town Square. There are live performances, great ethnic restaurants, a beautiful public library, and a splash park that draws dozens of squealing kiddies every day throughout the summer. In winter, the large public area is converted to an ice rink, where beginners and advanced skaters spend hour upon hour. If you're in the neighborhood, make sure to drop by town square.

Went on a weekday night and there was serious dancing in the Town Center. Enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere and a very nice dinner at a tapas restaurant.

If you choose a concert night and or activity for the kids is great!
Many choices to eat for every budget.
You can go just for ice cream, drinks, or dinner.
Even if you go as late as 10PM you'll find food.

I have been to Rockville Town Square several times this year and recommend it for all ages. It is a true square space, surrounded by street level stores, restaurants, the public library entrance, and two parking garages above all of which are five to six stories of apartments and condominiums. There is an open stage where various entertainment is scheduled. Outdoor restaurant seating adds additional activity. Limited street parking is metered and costs 25 cents for 15 minutes. Garage parking starts at $2 an hour to a daily maximum of $12. Participating merchants will validate free parking for two hours if a purchase is made. This is a good place to relax and people watch. I have not rated this place "excellent" because the quality of food and drink at the restaurants are average for the prices asked.
