Came in off the water for a drink. Enjoyed a rum bucket and crab dip appetizer. Bar tender was friendly and from Salisbury University where we all went and 2 of our children go there now. Small world. Casual dock-side bar to relax and enjoy the day.

In all fairness, we did not eat a full meal here, and normally, I wouldn't write a review for just an appetizer. That said, the Crab Dip appetizer was excellent - loaded with crab and baked with a cheese topping, and served with just baked fresh bread. Add that to a great view from the deck and a cold Miller beer, and you've got a nice evening in store.

Four of us went to dinner at the marina in Oxford. Outside seating was dubious because thunderstorms were forecast and the weatherman was right! The menu sounds better than the food actually is. Softshell crabs with a house made crab cake was expensive as a special. You couldn’t order just the soft shells which were all I wanted. They were pan sautéed and okay but would have been a lot better without old bay (or whatever) seasoning. The crab cake didn’t have a lot of crab in it and looked like a bocce ball. A Caesar salad arrived without any dressing. Our friends both had shrimp crab rolls which they thought were okay. The wine list has ridiculous prices. Service was okay. The place itself has a weathered (or tired) look. The bar (where we waited out the storm after dinner) surface was sticky. Lunch is probably a better time to come.

There are fancier and pricier places in Oxford as any Chesapeake Bay boater can well attest to, but if you want a nice local place (joint) with seating right on the dock with good views this place fills the bill. We started with an appetizer to share--the shrimp and mahi mahi cerviche which came with diced tomatoes, purple onions a little lime and a hint of cilantro and served with crackers--it was light and delicate and very tasty. We followed with the jumbo lump crabcake sandwich served with lettuce tomato and fries. The crabcake was very good but not really jumbo lump. :(
My wife had one of her favorites-soft shell crabs (sandwich but she skipped the bread). The two crabs were clearly very fresh and very lightly sauteed and were excellent. :) An overall excellent lunch with a nice view on a beautiful day.

Wonderful service, great fish and chips, beer selections, it's right on the water and has an outdoor bar/seating.
