The best thing about the hotel, is the friendly staff. As a resort, it is below par, it's more like a two star hotel. The fitness room needs updating and it would be nice to extend the complimentary coffee/tea beyond the morning period

The room was clean but the shower needed caulking and tile could be fixed. The furniture was clean but it seemed old.Everyone there was very pleasnt. There was no indoor pool and, of couse, the outdoor pool was closed. No food on site but there is a restaurant with in walking distance.

Room Tip: watch out for the step between the living room and the bed room

Great location! The employees were very friendly, & helpful. Complimentary coffee, tea & hot chocolate were available in the lobby. The balcony's are very small but most overlook the bay which is nice.

We booked this resort because it looked nice on the website. The room we were given did not look anything like the one on the website. The furniture had seen better days and the water pressure was so poor in the shower that we requested a new shower head be installed.

Best things about resort.
Beautiful sunsets over the bay side.
Great location at 59th Street on the Bay Side.
This is the place if you just want a bed near the beach, 2 blocks away.

Best attractions or restaurants nearby:
Fager’s Island, short walk over the bridge away (go at sunset for a surprise!)
The Bayside Skillet for crepe and omelettes.
Our favorite restaurant, Generals Kitchen, was closed.
Check if restaurants are open in the off season. many close for season or have reduced hours.
Assateaque National Park (horses) and Berlin (quaint shops) are very close.
Near enough to Salisbury for outlets, theaters, chain restaurants.

Review:
This report needs updating.
We were trapped in the back elevator upon check in. The maintenance man finally opened the door which was about 8” lower than the floor. He assisted us getting us and our luggage out. It was a very scary experience.
There are few to no amenities on site besides the outdoor pool (opens in May).
It has no planned activities.
Rooms are cold and drafty with tile floors and no carpets.
The furniture is on the older side and the bed is extremely firm with springs!
We had a studio with a very small kitchenette (2 burner stove top, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot) - sufficient for the two of us.
The staff was friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Rooms are cold and drafty with tile floors and no carpets. Bring robe and slippers. All rooms face bay.
