Description: The Swahili Village Bar and Grill's Fine Kenyan Cuisine captures the essence of three distant lands: India, Arabia, and Persia. Venture in and be transported to a city in Kenya. Karibu. We serve nyama choma, tilapia, samosas, imported beer, and beverages. A bold, well balanced blend of herbs and seasoning gives this indigenous East African food a unique taste reminiscent of great Asian, Mediterranean, Arabic and Ethioian empires of the past. Enjoy the friendly ambience in African dining in the sole Kenyan Cuisine restaurant conveniently located in Beltsville near Washington DC.

My business partner and I were looking for something different. Something that we don't get to eat back in Wyoming. And HOLY COW! This place is a hidden gem. The exterior was suitably rough but the inside was very clean and welcoming with little tea candles on each table. The service was wonderful and the chef made a personal visit to the table of each patron. All ingredients were prepared fresh and the server super helpful. Everything I hoped it would be. Great job!

The food was very good, the price a little high but not too high. The service was outstanding. Its a nice place to with friends if you want to catch a game and drink or watch pay per view boxing. Dont forget to order Nyama choma. The food is what makes this place outstanding.

The Manager and staff were very welcoming, the restaurant though small is quite clean. If you must eat here, come when not in a hurry, and with enough time to wait for the food, as it is mostly prepared fresh for you. Almost all the Home foods, Samaki, Chai, Chapati, Ugali, Nyama Choma, Sukuma Wiki are present.
I loved the music the most. A nice place to eat out with friends and 'renew' the East African feel. Food ranges from $5 - 12 depending on what you order for. 'Automatic Gratuity' cost us about USD 13.
