we stayed here because it was reasonably priced and had air conditioning which we didn't have at home and the heat and humidity were awful. I booked 1 night and we liked it so much that we stayed a second night. Friendly Innkeeper and the best coffee I've had in a while. The room was clean and had all the amenities including an outdoor balcony with table and chairs.

Room Tip: if stairs are a problem be sure to mention at check in as there isn't an elevator.

While we were only there one night, We loved the Lynwood Inn. The room was clean, roomy with an outdoor terrace and a kitchenette . We slept like logs in the comfy bed. The innkeeper is friendly and accomodating . Will definitely go back again !

I would really like to give the inn a 3.6 or 3.7. The location is really great- between the two beaches and you can walk almost anywhere if you are careful on the road (there are not sidewalks everywhere. The room was quite comfortable and with the AC on we could not hear too much noise, to be bothered by the thin walls. A simple but lovely continental breakfast (homemade muffins and breads!) that we ate on our porch. Easy parking out back. The building is older (typical for Maine) and it seems that updates are still being made. Need some luggage racks so you don't have to put your bags on the floor.

Room Tip: ask for a room away from the main road for more peace and quiet.

My wife booked one night as a surprise for me and our kids, but we enjoyed it so much we stayed another night. Two bedrooms made it feel much roomier than a hotel room and the close walk to the beach/ Yorks wild kingdom eliminated the need to pay to park anywhere. Our kids loved it as much as we did and were sad to leave. I would recommend the Lynnwood Inn to anyone looking for affordable accommodations close to the water and would definitely stay there again!

Kie is a new owner, and is doing a great job at getting the place redone for the new season. The place is only a short block from the water, and a little bit further to the park and beach. The breakfast is small but good to get your body going. If you are looking for something extravagant, then this is not the place. If you are looking for a place that is quaint and relaxing and simple then this inn is perfect!
