We had donuts here on our last day in Portland and wish we would have tried it sooner, because they were amazing! We definitely would go back the next time we visit.

Back for our long awaited reunite to Little Bigs! Picked a box of savory pies and sweets. The Cuban pie we devoured immediately, it was full and filled with meats and cornichons that were so tasty! A meal in itself! The cheese danish was lovely, filled with a delicious sweet cheese filling and layered buttery dough. The fig bar was light and very nice and the raspberry Bismarck absolutely delicious. Had to place an order for the 3 varieties of crullers as they were sold out by the time we arrived. The crullers are remarkable. Talented chefs at Little Bigs!

Walking into Little Bigs is walking into comfort. When I arrived the cheerful bakers were featuring a few savory egg cups and about 10 different sweets. I opted for a spinach tomato egg pie which was a hearty breakfast and a divine raspberry ricotta Bismark. It's worth making a trip to South Portland for these treats! Bon appetite

These tasted like real donuts - actual fried dough. I tried the vanilla frosted, maple frosted cruller, and raspberry and cream filled, as well as a piece of salted shortbread. Everything was absolutely delicious.

Went in August as recommended by a friend. Walking in to see the chef working on the left and faced with a bakers rack in front of us our eyes grew wide as a few items were finished and placed hot out of the oven in front of us. We took whatever came out of oven which was a chicken curry pie beautifully made. We took the 2 potato crusted filled savory pies as well and several sweet items boxed to go. We sat outside at little table and thoroughly enjoyed the savory pies. I broke my 4month strict diet for these yummies. Later that eve we devoured the sweets back at our cabin. Ok -the bacon maple crueller was incredible as were equally amazing the Bismarck and almond creme Boston donut. The crueller was my absolute favorite so much so that at the end of the week we stopped by for a box of savory treats we had the chef pick for us. Sadly no sweets this day as it was the shops day off and the shop was closed but chefJames was prepping and sold us pies for our long drive home. Which was incredibly generous to have us stop in. Prices terrific too!
Little Bigs is not to be missed. A gem!
And just beautiful deliciousness~
