We have stayed here three times and have thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful home each time. The porch over hanging the pond is truly magically and where I spend most of my time day and night. Our little group enjoyed a wonderful lobster dinner with our hosts Cathy and Dan. We also love to relax on our little flotillas...see the picture I've attached!

Sitting on the verandah is like being on a boat. The view is truly awesome and the house, a home away from home. We received a warm welcome from Cathy and Dan and spent a delightful evening with them. Our dog, Rupert, was made most welcome also. It was a most memorable time.

What a wonderful cottage! It's location on Walker Pond is idyllic. I enjoyed the mornings and evenings on the fabulous porch enjoying the quiet or kayaking in the lake while exploring the nearby towns and Acadia National Park during the day.
Cathy and Dan Larson have equipped the comfortable cottage with whatever you need including binoculars to check out the loons and herons and a telescope to look for falling stars in the expansive night sky. I loved the book of detailed information that they've compiled with great area resources and the fascinating history of the cabin and the summer camp.
It really is a magical place to unwind and refresh.
