We stayed here on a rainy night in Saco. We were impressed with the size of the room and pleased that the bed was comfortable. The bathroom seems to have been recently remodeled. Given the relatively low cost of HD TVs, we were a little surprised that the TV was an old model cathode tube TV with a pretty bad picture. The Sunrise is obviously set up for summer vacationers who intend to stay for several days, which accounts for the electric range, refrigerator, and cupboards in the room. If one wants a place to crash for the night, this is an alternative.

Room Tip: Try get room with a flatscreen tv.

Love the inside of the room.Outside could use a little sprucing up.Love how the king bed room was separated from the twin bed for privacy.Had great water pressure for shower. Very nice owners.Would definitely stay here again.

All hotels booked had no choice but to stay
Really need to get new furniture
It would make it a lot better
Couch stained drawers falling apart
Bed was ok
Rugs are horrible
Cannot believe the rates they are charging for this dump
Cannot believe they won't refund money
Wish I read all the posts first

This was a last minute vacation stay that turned out to be pretty good. The reservation was for a two bedroom cabin however it was more like a large open concept cabin. There was a half wall partitioning the "rooms". One side had the king size bed, the other one queen and one twin bed. Each side also had a couch. It was fairly new and well maintained. The only issue we had was the one bathroom was the only place for changing privacy. Overall, this place is an excellent value. It is in a central location to all local attractions and across the street from the Saco drive in. This is a family owned and operated business that is worth staying at. The owners are very personable, the staff helpful. We will stay here again should we return to Maine.

We have stayed here for over a week and liked it! The motel is run by a really friendly family who work hard to make your stay a nice one.
The motel also offers a swimming pool and a swing set with slide that my daughter enjoyed a lot!
We will definitely be back!
