I first tried their coffee when they provided it to us after a week at sea on the schooners. We raced down from Islesboro and had a nice reception at the Rockland Sail, Power and Steam Museum. I have since been to the cafe in Rockland many times. Great atmosphere, great food and friendly service. Throw in that they are community oriented, and you couldn't ask for more.

This was our coffee and mid morning snack place.
Excellent egg, cheese and bacon wrap. Really good cranberry orange scones. House roasted coffee and craft beer on tap along with wine and alcohol selections

The sweet stuff and coffee is pretty good here, and the soups and sandwiches are OK, too, but this place can get crowded and noisy (even in winter), with lots of people staying for hours, taking advantage of the free Wi-fi.

There also are nights when local musical groups play here, which can be fun.

The counter service is good, with workers friendly most of the time.

There's also a nice, little book store in the back.

This is just a jewel of a bakery-slash-cafe! A fabulous menu of amazing variety. Great food offerings, from soups to sandwiches galore...to sweets and very specially-crafted hot drinks! Perfect for our recent frigid winter visit to Rockland.

Lots of charm in this cute little eatery, great service from very hard-working staff, as they do get very busy and this is a go-to for locals and visitors alike! The number of tables and their turnover is fairly good, so you will most likely be able to get one. Better yet, grab one when you see it and have someone in your party order for you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time and food here, and then wandered to the back of the cafe into the adjoining book store. Perfect! A lovely spot to visit that I highly recommend.

Just down the street from the Farnsworth Museum. Nice atmosphere, good sandwiches and a very god selection of their own brew. Pub Pulled Pork, Beef Stew Bowel and Chicken Strips
