From the moment you enter the front door and see the dual stone fireplaces at each end of the room crackling away you take a step back to the glory days of elegance county style. The dining room overlooks the lake perched atop a ridge with panoramic views of the area. The food, service, and décor is reminiscent of pipe smoking with a brandy snifter and your trusted hunting dog laying by the open hearth. If you want to stay onsite there are rooms to rent and a 18 hole golf course to complete your relaxing stay.

What a lovely review! And you are right...with all the crazy things going on in this world, how nice it is to visit Rangeley and the Country Club Inn. A hidden gem in the Western mountains of Maine where one can forget their worries and truly relax. We look forward to seeing you folks again next year. Sincerely, Margie Jamison, Innkeeper

If you want peace, quiet, mountain & lake views this is the place for you.
The rooms are lovely, nicely decorated, spacious with great views. All rooms offer nice outside sitting areas. The B & B rate includes a wonderful breakfast. There are multiple seating areas in the Main Lodge entry, a huge fieldstone fire place. Margie and Steve offer great 'Old fashioned" hospitality. There are No TV's in the rooms but there is one in the main lodge if you want to watch it! The dining room is beautiful and the Mountain View is outstanding. The food served is Top Shelf. There is a very nice bar & lounge area and also an outside lounge for the nicer days. Golf course right across the street. Well worth seeing them out.

Room Tip: Call the Inn and ask Margie, she can put you in a room that suits your needs

This was an experience that we didn't expect. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a very quiet place to rest. The food was fantastic, the pool was just what we needed after being out riding and sight seeing all day.Margery and Steve are great Inn keepers. They were helpful in directions and things to see and do.The lobby gives you a real home feeling while hanging out there. We will be returning soon room is already booked.
Thank You Margery & Steve for a great stay

Ron...we appreciate the feedback. It is a special place...kind of a blast from the past. No TVs, phones...and lots of peace & quiet and all kinds of places to relax. These are things all of us need these days with the hectic world around us. Look forward to hosting you again in the future. Margie

We loved this place. Quaint and full of character and our room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed sitting in the sun outside enjoying the gorgeous views. Owner Marjie was so welcoming and dinner in the restaurant absolutely delicious, matched by an equally tasty breakfast next morning. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The staff and main areas were nice. Food was good. Beware of rooms. Don't know if all rooms are the same but the room we had in main building was extremely outdated and small. Beds appeared to be inexpensive models. Building was built in 1950 and been years (maybe decades) since remodeled.

Good morning...thank you for the feedback on your stay. The rooms are small, but the Inn has lots of comfy seating areas, fireplaces and decks to spread out and enjoy your stay. We continually work on purchasing new mattresses, beds and bedding each spring and fall to keep up to date with our 20 guests rooms. We would love to have you return to the Inn to give us another chance...and at this time like to offer you a 25% special for your next stay. Just mention this email to me if you decide to return to Rangeley. Sincerely, Margie Jamison, Innkeeper
