Come as you are, picnic table dining. If you want fish at family dining prices this is the place. Soda and water are available, but you can bring your own. Chet had fish n chips. I had clam cakes. No room for dessert.

Susan's is authentic, down home cooking. The fish is FRESH, the portions are large, and the prices are great. Some of my favorites are the fish and chips. The outside is nice a crispy and the haddock is moist and flaky. The fried whole belly clams are amazing and the stuffed lobster roll is a deal. Delicious hand-cut fries and onion rings round out the meal and there's plenty of tartar sauce to go around.

Looking for a good lobster roll, we headed to a place which apparently went out of business. A local was unloading supplies next door so we asked where we we should go. He pointed us to Susan's Fish N Chips. No frills, no muss, no fuss! The "lobstah" rolls we served on a small bun, stuffed with lightly dressed lobster, and a big side of French fries. Perfect size for lunch and reasonably priced. Going back tomorrow to try the fish and chips, and maybe a side of "chowdah".

It's the best place in the city for seafood the long as you're not hung up on atmosphere. Actually it's lack of atmosphere has become it's own form of atmosphere. Oh booths and picnic tables gives Susan's its own style of ambience. Once you get past that be prepared to settle In for the best seafood, the best price and the biggest portions in the area. They just keep on rolling.
