Portland is a strange town. It is a little bit New Age, a bit alternative (a bit like Totnes, Devon in the UK. So it is no surprise to find such a quirky place in such an ordinary High Street. It is a small, double shop unit that looks as though it could have been a butchers in a previous life. Actually, "Ottos" is a small chain - so the place has probably been mocked up to look this quirky.
Anyway, draft beer, wine - and great pizzas. Their signature pizza has mashed potato and scallions (sort of spring onions). This seems a bit Marmite - but I thought it worked. We ordered two pizzas to share and couldn't finish them (victims of the American portion size again). So good value. Great casual dining.
