The window sign and shingle are subtle, but inside the vibe was delightful.
This is a small venue, with a couple of bars, few tables and a speakeasy too. We were curious to see the speakeasy and while busy, it wasn't our scene. Different music and menu. Luckily when we came back 2 spots open at the upper/back bar. It had a cozy and intimate feel with the bar and staff. While we saw all kinds of happy customers with wine and creative cocktails it was Maine Beer week and we sampled a few - also good! The small plate options were interesting, unique and delicious. It looked like many made this a stop on a mobile night around town but you could also plant there a while and make it your destination, especially for a late snack if you missed the "dinner hour". We did, and we were glad we did. Give it a try.
Oh, and the staff we interacted with were exceptionally friendly, and attentive. Well done!
