Nice upgrade: bathroom and windows seems to be new. I was in unit 11 perfect for kids in the back with view of the forest and a small river. Much nicer then the pictures
Go for it; they even gave a teddy bear to my son. You can take the trolley to the beach

My extended family and I rented three of the rooms and all stayed here two nights in July - and it was absolutely perfect! The rooms are spacious and extremely clean - and best of all, they have screened in porches off the back of the bedroom (with refrigerators/microwaves). We enjoyed sitting on the porches with a glass of wine chatting into the evening. It is also close to the center of Ogunquit (with a shuttle stop nearby!) and you can walk to lovely beaches. Close to the Maine diner (superb!) and excellent fried seafood. What more could you want from a weekend at the beach?

We spent one night here and found it to be just delightful. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed - real glasses, a Keurig coffee maker. Our room had a screened in porch overlooking the river which was lovely for late night sitting. Knotty pine, comfortable chairs and bed. The grounds are well-kept, tall, old trees and even a barbecue set up out back. It just felt very homey and we would go back.

Room tip: Our room, #5, had a small porch with mini fridge and microwave.

We're into old-school motels. We love the parking at the door to your room, and we find that the owners tend to go the extra mile. This place was a perfect example. Sure, the furniture may be a bit dated, there's harvest gold tile in the bathroom, and institutional carpeting throughout, but c'mon, you're there to chill after a long day in the sun. Our room was plenty large, and squeaky clean. I'm a stickler for details, and not a single thing needed paint or polish. Everything worked like a charm, including the cable and wi-fi, and thoughtful little labels help you figure things out if there's any doubt. The owners and staff could not be happier, nicer, or more accomodating. They want you to be there! Go out the front door to the car, or go out the back door to a beautifully landscaped "back yard", with manicured lawn, flowers, lighted gazebos, grills, chaises, etc. 'Felt like my own back yard. The town trolley runs right past the place, so for $2 you can get anywhere without dealing with the traffic/parking nightmare that is Ogunquit. After we checked out, the owner offered to let us leave the car and catch the trolley so we could save the $20 or $25 parking for the beaches. We would not hesitate for a second to re-book on our next visit. Thank you folks!

Room tip: We stayed in #17, but I'm sure they're all just as nice!
