We had a delightful Sunday brunch at the Riverside Farm Restaurant. The location is very convenient to US 95 near Waterville, Maine and much more pleasant that the national chain restaurants nearby. We both had Eggs Benedict. Kathryn had her eggs with farmers ham and I had mine with crab cakes. We ate on the deck with a beautiful view of the river and live music - keyboardist and singer. Very pleasant.
A few notes - My crab tasted more like crab salad made with some mayonnaise but it was tasty. I also had Bloody Mary with ice on said. Unfortunately, I wasn't given a spoon which made it hard to put ice in the drink.
The wait staff was polite but a little tired. We arrived about 1/2 hour before service ended. We heard a waitress tell another patron that they had been very busy.
All in all a very good experience.
