We had a delightful Sunday brunch at the Riverside Farm Restaurant. The location is very convenient to US 95 near Waterville, Maine and much more pleasant that the national chain restaurants nearby. We both had Eggs Benedict. Kathryn had her eggs with farmers ham and I had mine with crab cakes. We ate on the deck with a beautiful view of the river and live music - keyboardist and singer. Very pleasant.

A few notes - My crab tasted more like crab salad made with some mayonnaise but it was tasty. I also had Bloody Mary with ice on said. Unfortunately, I wasn't given a spoon which made it hard to put ice in the drink.

The wait staff was polite but a little tired. We arrived about 1/2 hour before service ended. We heard a waitress tell another patron that they had been very busy.

All in all a very good experience.

We stop here for dinner whenever we are in the area. They never disappoint. The food, service, ambiance and prices are great! Add to that the bakery and gift shop with freshly baked pies! Oh, Yeh! Try it!

We ended up having two lunches and dinner with Pam and Becky at the Riverside. The food was very good, and on Friday night there was lovely music provided by Pam, the owner. On Saturday, it was a lovely day, so we ate outside on the porch which faced the lake. Lovely setting!

We looked for a nearby place for lunch on our travel up to northern Maine, and found this gem on Trip Advisor. What a beautiful place! We enjoyed a delicious brunch on the outside patio overlooking a nearby stream, while listening to the soft sounds of live music. Prices are very reasonable, the food is local, fresh and organic. Vegetarian and vegan meals are also available. The inside is nicely decorated, and there's an attached store which sells cheese and wine. A great place to go for a quiet lovely meal! Not far off Route 95.

First time having dinner there. I have enjoyed many lunches over the years. At lunch the bread is amazing. Dinner no bread basket was served, disappointing! We enjoyed the house wine. Pasta dinner had little flavor. The salmon was fresh but not a very creative presentation.
