Good location for a riverside walk to Henley. .Dog friendly. Had dinner there on first night which I would fully recommend. The breakfast was fine but not quite enough options for me, including healthy cereals, fruit, yogurt. the cooked breakfast was good.
Room was comfortable, though feel the shower cubicle could do with an update.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Am about to book for my second stay.

We were greeted so warmly by Jack, a staffer who really went out of his way to make us comfortable, including hauling my way-too-heavy bag to our adorable (and surprisingly quiet) second floor room above the pub. Had both dinner and breakfast there and were most impressed by both. Many of the ingredients are locally sourced and beautifully prepared. Very much enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here for 1 night with our dog. It's a fabulous pub with lovely accommodation. The restaurant/food for breakfast and evening meal was great. We went on a wonderful long walk (with our dog of course) from The Baskerville along the Thames path by the river and ended up in Henley where we had lunch in a lovely pub and afternoon tea at Patisserie Valerie (naughty but very nice). We then walked back but could have taken the train which is quite near our accommodation. It's a beautiful area to be in. We would have no hesitation in recommending The Baskerville (or the cream tea!)

The Baskerville is a lovely friendly pub with excellent rooms and young helpful staff. We had an excellent evening meal which was served in an attractive dining room and also had a great breakfast with a wide choice of cooked items. It was a perfect place for our overnight stay before going to a wedding in Henley the following day. The staff were very helpful and our request for a late check out was not a problem at all which was great. Only criticism was that every table in the dining room had a posy of rather dead freesias both at dinner and the following morning at breakfast! Would definitely recommend this lovely pub though!

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the bar area if you need an early night!
