We visited for one of the open days and had a lovely time exploring the building and relaxing in the lawn. Make sure to pack a picnic and a picnic rug!

A beautiful day out in historic surroundings. It was like stepping back into early last century just couldn't see the Greene family or their maids, Butlers nor valets. Did see their quarters where they slept and lived and the gardens in which they would of strolled through. Truely a rich piece of Australian farming history. Don't forget to take a picnic lunch , blanket and fly repellent for the day. Well worth the trip out into the country side amid the golden flowers of the canola.

Visiting Iandra is like taking a step back in time. The property is a little hard to find, especially when travelling form Young. But Iandra is a surprise in so many ways. The location , the beautiful grounds and the imposing presence of the actual buildings are impressive. The story accompanying the castle is enlightening, the actual tour of the house is revealing and the stables are an architectural delight. Worth a visit.

The homestead was amazing and set on such a beautiful parcel of land. Fantastic views from the balcony, overlooking well manicured gardens. We enjoyed a picnic lunch outside on the lawns and throughly enjoyed looking through the old castle. The $10 entry for adults was a small price to pay for such a great day out knowing the funds raised go straight back into maintaining and restoring the castle. Great coffee van on the day also! Highly recommended.

What an absolutely amazing surprise. Getting here meant driving to non specific directions that meant we felt were driving into the never never got a while. Glad we were persistent. A huge homestead that presents as a grand old property.

On the day there were sack races, egg & spoon, tug of war and all sorts of good old fashioned fun. Worth going out of your way on an advertised day. You will be thrilled. It has been well kept and is in wonderful condition. Thank you for having open days to share this beauty.
