Several family members who were attending a reunion nearby booked rooms at this motel. The accommodations were comfortable, convenient and clean. The owner was very accommodating and went beyond to made our stay comfortable and gave us an additional discount because of the number of rooms we booked. There are different room configurations from a family room to a smaller double. I would have liked a coffee machine in the room but would gladly give it up for the quiet, clean ambiance of the AirLine Motel.

Room Tip: The building in the back was further away from the road.

We stopped here on a whim after leaving home later than we expected and needing lodging for one night. The room was clean, well decorated and quiet. Since we were traveling with our dog and came across this pet friendly lodging it made our night. I would stay again and have already recommended to others.

The rooms are in a building behind the house that contains the office, so street noise isn’t much of a problem unless you’re really sensitive to noise. There was no coffee maker in the room and no breakfast served in the morning, but there are plenty of places to eat in Brewer and Bangor. The most important thing is that the room was comfortable (with good mattresses) and very clean and was one of the few places in the area that accepts pets (with NO pet fee)!

Room Tip: A room on the end gives more light with 2 extra windows.

My husband and I have been staying here for years as it is on the number 9 highway, just short of Brewer, on our way from Canada to our favourite shopping areas in the US. Prices are comparable or a little lower than other motels in the area. As mentioned in other reviews the rooms we have stayed in have had a fridge, microwave and flat screen tv, but the only amenities have been little bars of soap...no shampoo or hair dryer. I give it a five stars because the rooms are spotless and the beds comfy. Lots of water pressure in the shower and as in most motels, the windows open. Check in is easy and there is parking just outside the room. We always choose room 11 on the top floor (walk up) because it is large with two beds and there is a lot of room to organize our purchases. This hotel is not open through the winter, so call first for the closing day.

This was our second stay here. We were on our motorcycle with 2 other couples also on bikes. We returned because of the great experience we had here 5 years ago. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. We had a refrigerator, microwave and a flat screen TV. The bathroom was spotless. We made reservations before going because if you stay here, you will want to return. Most people do and this gem fills up quickly, especially on weekends. This is a delightful place to stay. The owner is wonderful too! We'll be back on our next trip to Maine. Be sure not to miss the small restaurant across the street : Eagles Nest". Good food, reasonable prices and the best lobster roll!!

Room Tip: Not a bad room here. Front rooms have a porch to sit on in the evenings.
