What a HUGE surprise to have such an EXCELLENT MEAL! Décor was fantastic. We have been eating in this area of Maine for 3 days and this place blew our minds! We did not have a reservation but they took us right in at 5:30pm when they first opened. Thank you to the ladies at the hotel/dinning reservation desk for being so friendly & kind. Our table was perfect for us! Vanessa, our server, was truly excellent. She did what most wait staff have stopped doing, she made sure our meal was the best experience a customer could have. We had the Seafood Trio - haddock, shrimp & sea scallops. cooked to perfection. We hated for the meal to end and cannot wait to return! Also, a huge thank you to the chefs for such fresh salad, perfectly cooked seafood, vegetables & rice pilaf.

We love Brown's Wharf, and sat on the flower laden deck on a beautiful day, with a gorgeous view, but we were somewhat disappointed in our breakfast. One of the things we greatly enjoy are the Wild Maine Blueberries, which we can only get when we visit Maine. We ordered the Blueberry pancakes and they were light and fluffy, but did not include Wild Maine Blueberries. If you are ordering Blueberry pancakes in Maine, you expect them to be filled with Wild Maine Blueberries. Had we asked what kind of Blueberries were in the pancakes, we would have ordered something else.

There did seem to be many other breakfast options that are probably very nice, and the service was good.

We had 3 Adults and my Grand Daughter for dinner. Ordered twin lobsters for dinner and Kylie had Chicken, She has an issue with shell fish, All were prepared well. When it came to desert time my daughter said that she wanted another lobster for desert. Guess what?? We got 2 more lobsters. UUMM Also got to meet Mrs. Brown in the lobby. We saw the rooms there and next year we will be staying at Browns Warf. Stayed at Boothbay harbor ocean Inn resort this year and was not HAPPY. A great place to stay and the food is UUMM

We set up dinner reservations through the front desk (smooth process) with plans to sit outside. That evening the restaurant called our room, suggested we sit inside with foggy weather, and set us up with the perfect window table. Though this large dining room was packed our server Vanessa along with the rest of the staff took perfect care of us. We started with clam chowders which as my native island girl wife said was the best chowder ever. She went with the seafood alfredo (really really good) and I went with the eggplant parmesan. It was good, but for me I wish it was cut a bit thicker since it really softened up in the melted mozzarella covered casserole dish. We would certainly come back and will be back in next year if not sooner.

First, the pros: Waterfront location, outdoor seating available, obviously fresh lobster (Pretty hard to go wrong with lobster in Maine, so that really doesn't set a restaurant apart.) The cons? Mediocre sides like a warmed over or possibly microwaved baked potato, tasteless cole slaw, so-so steak for the husband. Menu read as coming with a blue cheese 'bread pudding', but honestly, neither of us could taste much in the way of blue cheese. It tasted like . . . stuffing. If you like "home cooking", this may be the place. If you are a foodie, it definitely isn't.
