“Nice Breakfast in center of activity”
Reviewed 19 August 2011

We Had to get away from the hotel's continental; breakfast....Our Compliments to D'ellie's! Their homemade french bread was thick and delicious! The egg sandwiches are excellent as well...good coffee with $1 refills. Friendly staff...one young woman looks just like Danica Patrick!

“A rare find in BBH”
Reviewed 25 July 2011

D'Ellies is a rare find in a busy tourist town like Boothbay Harbor. On the Pier 1 boardwalk there is no other place to get a good hearty breakfast or sandwich, lobster roll, dog's or chowder that is made by the owner and her daughter. Sandwiches are prepared on home made breads. And I love the carrot cake cup cakes! The D'Eliies staff work hard to please their guests and it the place where the local harbor emplyee's go to eat. This mother / daughter team are the bomb(s).

“SCRUMPTIOUS FOOD MADE WITH LOVE”
Reviewed 18 July 2011

The staff of D'Ellies is amazing. They are friendly, helpful and always smiling. The food is absolutely to die for! The homemade breads are fresh and tasty. The sandwiches are gigantic and the roast beef and turkey is a must try! My fav is their french toast made with anadama. It is not too soggy, cooked to a toasted brown and the small amount of powdered sugar takes the cake. I suggest the side of bacon which is better than any bacon I have ever had! And they give you REAL maple syrup! The iced coffee is yummy (did I mention they use coffee cubes so the iced coffee doesn't get watered down?) And for dessert the MUD PIE!!!!! OMG it is the best! Love D'Ellies! :0)

“Every year I wait with baited breath for them to reopen!”
Reviewed 28 June 2011

Because it is JUST THAT GOOD. The bread is fresh baked at their sugarloaf location and is amazing - try the anadama, it's like a dream. they always get my order right and the girls working there are always up for a quick chat. I go there at LEAST once a week all summer until they close, and I'm always very very sad when they do and long for them to reopen. Be sure to ask for a berry smoothie with your sandwich; they make it with a blender and real berries - no fake stuff!
it's a perfect lunch and no mistake.

“Yum”
Reviewed 18 February 2011

Great food, great people. Love them! I always get the veggie on their homemade anadama bread. I'm wishing they were open right now so I could go get lunch there! See you in June!
