From the sitting room and deck, you can see lobster boats come into the cove for their traps.
Sitting room: couch, chairs, desk (internet), now a larger flatscreen tv (cable).
View from sitting room, across deck: grass, picnic table (+now a larger gas grill) to cove.
Leaded glass window in kitchen looks out on screened porch that overlooks pond across the street.
Kitchen has leaded glass window, bay window, and sash window to right.
Cheery colors and wood in cottage kitchen. Plentifully equipped.
Full-sized fridge, 4burner stove. Clothespins in closet to hang wet bathingsuits on line at driveway
Bathroom has Bathfitter tub/shower with curved rod. Multiple towel racks.
Antique headboards and windows in the twin bedroom. New pillows + blankets. Cozy--sweet dreams!
You can read in bed in the double bedroom, lots of books in the sitting room a few steps away.
Antique dresser in the twin bedroom--gorgeous, please take care of it!  :)
Just a few steps to the wooden ramp with hand rail that lets you down onto our quiet beach.
A fantastic place for adults and children to explore, soak up some sun, run around, or relax.

After a day of discovering sea glass, shells, beautiful stones, different seaweeds, fun in the sand.
High tide with the swells crashing on Seals Rocks in the middle of our little cove.
Low tide. Long public surfing beach extends down 'the stretch' all the way to Biddeford Pool.
Surfers come to the long public Fortunes Rocks Beach all year, even in wetsuits in winter!
Lilac starts to bloom beside the Palace--heavenly smell in springtime.
Rosa rugosa smells wonderful! Mostly pink, some white ones at our beach.
Rose hips, rosa rugosa--grows beautifully at the beach.
Sparkling water, beautiful clouds, on a late summer/fall day at our little beach.
Sea gulls on our beach. Various kinds, various ages and coloring.
Birds on the pond across the street, autumn.
More birds on the pond across the street--you can see the pond from our porch. Fall colors.
Cattails beside the road at the saltwater marsh just a short walk to the south.
Fascinating saltwater marsh just a short walk away, part of Rachel Carson National Wildlife Reguge.
Gorgeous fall colors on the road nearby, a short walk away, Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge.
A wonderful autumn walk.

We had a great time here. The house is small but cozy, has a nice deck and covered porch to watch the rainy days, and the kitchen is complete and clean. The beach is sandy at high tide, but rocky at low tide as is typical here. We were 2 adults, 2 children, and fit just fine.
