We went to try this place out since it had received so many good reviews. Our gps led us astray taking us down a dead end road but we drove around a little and finally found it in a newer strip shopping center. The place looks nice and has a new look and feel. You can't miss the big red pizza oven when you walk in. There is a smallish dining room and then on the other side of a wall a nice bar and then there is an outside patio area. We went over the menu that has a part for daily specials. We settled on pasta bolognese and l'americana pizza. The pizza had julianned pepperoni instead of the usual coins and a fresh tomato sauce on a thin but somewhat flimsy crust that required support to eat so the toppings wouldn't all slide off but was otherwise very tasty. The pasta was also fresh and tasty. Service was very good and attentive. We got there a little before 5 pm and were quickly seated but shortly thereafter the place filled up fast. We also noticed several tables with reserved signs on them so just letting you know that this place fills up during peak hours.

Good recommendation by a local, excited to sit at the pizza bar and watch staff do their thing. Unfortunately they rushed our pizza and then said sorry too late oven is closed. Very disappointed ...

This is a busy place that is inconsistent. The pizza crust is burnt, food is very salty, lots of fat. It is hard to count calories here. Beer is cold, wine is OK. Service is lackadaisical. This is an average place for Shreveport. If it were in Dallas, it would be well below average.

I understand that bar areas are usually more lax than dining areas, but the bartender who attended to us (Jeff) was very rude and inattentive, at one point we could hear him cussing from behind the bar, not to mention the drinks were sub par at best. This behavior would not surprise me at a chain restaurant but not a local one. Our pizza and appetizer were great but next time we will sit in the dining area.

Family of 8. Told the wait would be 30 to 40 minutes. Waited 35 minutes. Several tables opened up while we were waiting but we were still not seated. When we asked about it, we were told those tables had been reserved for 7:30. It was only 6:18 at the time. For a place with limited seating, they should not take call in reservations. You loose business that way.
