The bird Avery & the petting zoo were cute and kept the kids amused. The food however could have been better. Dessert was great though! Some more fresh ‘salad’ type options on the menu would be fantastic.

I did not know there were Stone Hut cottages nor did know there was a bakery here but I reversed back for a look at the bakery. What a little gem, my flat white, "a little bit hotter then normal please" was just right and my eccles (spicy fruit cake in gorgeous flaky pastry) was to die for.
This place is very worthwhile stop on this road but should be signposted more prominently.

Took 82B highway from Port Augusta to Adelaide and stopped here for a pie and cool one. My wife had the crocodile pie and I had the wild boar pie. Both delicious and the ladies were great and friendly as well!

This bakery make the best food ever. The meals are first class and the pastries and sweets are to die for. Can't recommend this bakery enough. You are a fool to not stop and try something. Prices are OK also.
