This is my 3rd stay in the hotel since they first opened. Service and quality are going down rapidly.
I made a reservation for the their best available room. I paid extra to be in a premier room. However they requested upgrade fee from me to give the room I reserved and paid for. I would never expect from an hotel I have been 3 times already.
Hotel is promoting heavily itself to Chinese tourists and they have a steady customer base from mainland China. They have no interest on western tourist. Staff attitude shows it too.
I hope they will change their business practices soon operate an honest business like most of the visitors expect.
Until they formally acknowledge their actions, I will not return to this hotel. I hope they realize soon the tourists are not stupid.

Now it's my favorite resort ever... My kids, my husband and I enjoyed every moment of our stay, we love the food, swimming pool, beach, rooms... i think i dont need to mention all because its just PERFECT! How we wish we could stay much longer!

stayed 2nights on a weekend.

Pros : good amenities, good and big swimming pool, lovely beach, lovely crowd,
staffs at the beach and the pool are accomodating, room is big

Cons : our view of the room is a junk shop
no slippers
men at the lobby are not that willing to get you a cab when you want to go to the city. instead, they will offer a private car raging from 600-800 per one way trip depending on the number of persons.
WIFI is fast
Overall, will defintely come back for the amenities and the location!

This is a beautiful resort, although slightly too big and so it loses some of its charm.

The room was gorgeous with a lovely bathroom and large freestanding bath. The hotel however scrimped on the amenities. There are no dressing gowns or slippers as these are reserved for those with pool villas only. Two small free bottles of water are provided with a friendly note to state more can be asked for. Good luck with this as we asked three times for some more to no avail. This is the downside of the resort. The staff are rude, uncaring and unprofessional. Four staff members man the small lobby cafe stand and at the time of our arrival were squabbling with each other in full view of guests.

The breakfast is substandard at best and runs almost on empty, meaning a lot of time is wasted hanging around for dishes to be replenished. Despite asking for a transfer from Tagbilaran the hotel would not provide this as we could not state an exact arrival time of the ferry apart from to state the approximate arrival time as given to us by the ferry company.

Over all we were made to feel like substandard customers. The resort is a nice 4 star complex but is heavily let down by its staff who provide a two star service.

I am a local from the province and I must say that Henann Resort has been one of the few resorts here in this island that I love going back. I would say it has everything that you might wish as a holiday location.

The hotel is huge, yet the price is very affordable. I think with about 6000 pesos you can already book a spacious room, compared to other luxury hotels in the island which starts from 8,000 up. It has three huge pools and also a 'direct access' pool from a room. It is complete with amenities such as a gym area, spa and also a bar/ lounge area near the pool and beach.

The beach front is huge and the sand is white. If you wish to hop for restaurants, there are a lot of choices to choose from just by the beach. They serve free buffet breakfast ranging from Asian to European cuisine. The staff are very accommodating and there has never been a hassle for us checking in and out from the hotel.

Just one con, I find that their wi-fi access is quite slow especially in some areas of the hotel. So, updating your social media would be a struggle if you don't have unlimited internet plans. :)

Room tip: Rooms with a direct pool access would be more convenient especially if you want to just dip in the pool any time of the day.
