The food here is consistently good. We love the free bread that comes before the meal. The theming inside is beautiful and children will love the gigantic aquariums. Afterwards take a stroll through the BassPro shops and enjoy a free sample of delicious fudge.

This place has great atmosphere but the food is terrible! I had fried crawfish that was so greasy I got super sick after only eating about 5.

We were in town headed home from N.C. The staff at the KOA across the street said this was a pretty good place. They lied. The restaurant is located at one end of the local Bass Pro Shop. It was during the week around dinner time and the place was empty. We ordered the Fish and Chips and the World Famous Islamorada Fish Sandwich. The Fish and Chips were certainly not the best I've ever had. Far from it. And the fish sandwich was terrible. There was nothing on it except the fish and the cheese. American cheese would be the LAST kind of cheese I would use. It's fine for Grilled Cheese Sandwich's, but not for this. A good Tarter Sauce would have gone a long why to help. Then somewhere toward the end of our meal, our waitress disappeared. Good thing we were only passing thru.

My husband and I went in for dinner. The food was good and was piping hot! The service was average. The restaurant was not busy at the time and we were wondering what the waitresses would do if the restaurant was full.

I get this is part of Bass Pro, which is a big national chain for the Outdoors types. But why even have s restaurant in it if you’re not even going to attempt to serve decent food? Especially in Louisiana!

The food we all tried was just gross. We sent a number of dishes back and the service was pitiful. I like Bass Pro but they should really shut the restaurant part down.
