The place is ok, the quality of the food served is pretty good even compared to the other restaurants in the area. We've been there for the 25th of April, which is a public holiday in Italy. They had a fixed menu with 5 courses.
The prices were good, for a large meal 33 euros per person.
The main problem was the speed of serving, it took them more than three hours to serve the whole menu, which did not give us enough time to explore the surroundings.
The servers, as well, did not seem very polite, they were only introducing the food on a very soft tone and quickly and their attitude was a bit dismissive.
The accessible restroom downstairs does not seem to be really accessible at all.

This place will change your life. Salogni is a magical little village, situated high in the mountains, with some of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen. I stayed here for four days this past summer, and I am returning again this summer. From the moment I arrived, I fell in love with the spectacular views and the lovely people. I felt like family. Each meal, each exchange, I felt as though I was welcomed with open arms. Each meal was better than the last - and the Sunday feast was, without a doubt, the highlight of my tour of Europe. If you are looking for a nice place to unwind - and, if you're like me, to read - then this is a must. When you need some exercise, the hotel is located at the foot of a beautiful hiking trail, leading to to a glorious mountaintop with even better views than the hotel itself - I know, it is hard to imagine. If you are traveling Europe, do not just see the big cities, get the real experience. La Baita is my new favorite place, and I know you will feel the same way after you visit.

We stayed at la Baita and took cooking class with Gabrielle and Elena. First they are wonderful people and made us feel like family. Second we learned so much about Piemontese cuisine from someone who has been cooking for more decades. We ate what we cooked with her which was marvelous. But when she cooked for us it was stupendous. One meal featured: an encrusted egg yolk on a bed of spinach, fried zucchini blossom with basil sauce, caramella di formaggio con petali di tartufo, crema di pisellli con quenelles di ribiola pancetta croccante, porcini crepes with asparagus sauce, purple potato ravioli herb butter, pheasant and porcini roulade with potatoes. Each dish was redolent with subtle layers of exquisite flavors. Dolci included a limone semi freddo with mint sauce, panna cotta with this incredible fragole and a chocolate mouse with pistacchio bits. I miss Gabrielle and Elena so much already.
