“Homely cosy cottage”

Warm homely cottage with lovely character features and a good woodburner. Pretty location, quiet. Cottage has a friendly feeling and I enjoyed a peaceful stay there . My only no no was the amount of knick knacks and the artificial flowers. I personally feel a cottage like this speaks for it self with its lovely old features and does not need cheap decorations. I would also recommend that guests bring their own logs as the ones I bought from Stow garage, the nearest log supplier, were so damp it took the week to dry them out. The Co-op in Stow also sells bags of logs as I discovered too late! Cottage has great selection of classic dvds and cosy little bedrooms and bathroom.

“Relax and unwind”
Reviewed 12 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Enjoyed a relaxing week's stay at Odd Cottage which is a cosy, comfortable and quaint country cottage. The village of Oddington is beautiful and just enough off the beaten track to make it a quiet, get away from it all retreat (Stow is only 5 mins away by car).
Parking is provided at the top of the road (a few yards from the cottage). There are 2 village pubs both serving food (no shop but everything you need can be found in Stow).
A luxury hamper on arrival is a nice touch and makes a lovely welcome.
The cottage makes a great base for exploring the Cotswolds and is dog friendly.

“Quaint Cottage”

I stayed at Odd Cottage last fall with my wife and 2 other adults. We had a really great stay there. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were in such an idealistic little Cotswolds village and the cottage just adds to this charm. It has such a warm, quirky feel with slanted floors, low doorways, wooden beams and a beautiful fireplace. We loved returning at the end of our days to curl up in front of a warm fire. The instructions to get into the cottage were easy and the property manager was easily accessed for any issues that we had during our stay. We loved the village of Oddington and visited both pubs (The Fox and the Horse and Groom) for several meals all of which were excellent. We will always fondly remember the time we spent at Odd Cottage and hope to return for a visit some day!
