We visited as an extended family of grandparents, children and grandchildren and we found that there was something there for everyone. The main attraction is the amazing beautiful ark that is so huge that it is almost breath-taking. It is beautifully crafted and quite impressive just as a structure without examining all the content found inside. Outside the ark there is a petting zoo for the youngest visitors and some zip line courses for the young athletic guests. Our family took advantage of all of these even though the weather was not the best for outdoor events. The petting zoo received high marks, especially the antics of the ostriches and the emus. The zip line was good but a bit challenging for the 2 ten year old girls that did it.
Touring the ark itself requires a good bit of walking so those requiring assistance may want to rent some of the wheelchair devices they have available . The ramps that lead you through all 3 levels can be very crowded and so planning to arrive early or late in the day is recommended . There is much to read at the various exhibits and that slows down the lines as everyone tries to read or listen to presentations. The children found it all fascinating and everyone learned something new as we toured. It is all well researched and presented from a Christian perspective . When information has been speculated about, it is clearly identified as such.
All the exhibits are well presented and crafted to show quality. Workers are continuously patrolling the area to keep it clean and to answer questions. We spent most of a day there and enjoyed it thoroughly. The lunch buffet was very good and reasonably priced.
