Cincinnati-Newport boasts some beautiful bridges. My husband and I made sure to cross each of them on our recent trip to the area.

One of my favorite things to do in Newport is taking a walk across this bridge. The last time we were in town, there was a band playing on the bridge. There were also a lot of vendors serving beer and wine. It was a very cool experience.

Of course, I also just enjoy a quiet stroll across the bridge while admiring the view. Whether there's an event taking place or not, it's always a must do to talk a walk across the Purple People Bridge.

This was the most fun and free! Mostly a way to exercise and enjoy the sights, but also a few unique ideas such as the state line of Kentucky and Ohio being highlighted right over the middle of the Ohio river. Also a chopsticks game which was a blast.
There is a bit of graffiti but not so much that it takes away from the idea of this place!

The walk across the bridge is not too long and offers beautiful skyline views of Cincinnati. Was not very crowded on the day we visited, an overcast late autumn day.Not quite as magnificent as the Big 4 Bridge in Louisville but still a great spot to catch a breeze and see some sights. If visiting Newport on the Levee, take time to enjoy this bridge.

Taking a walk in this area was welcoming. One time when we visited the area it was rather busy. We enjoyed this place.
