Stopped here on a drive through northern Kentucky. The GPS took us about 1/4 mile away, but after a little frustrated driving we ended up at the Parc Cafe, which is in an end building in the little downtown area (at the corner of 2nd and Limestone). It's in a gorgeous old building, it has comfortable seating inside, and a very nice courtyard for outdoor seating. Not a lot of the lunch menu, but I selected the chicken salad on croissant and it was wonderful. It was one of the best croissants I've had in years -- light, flaky, totally tasty! The onion soup was good, but unfortunately lukewarm. We tried five different baked goods. Everything was excellent although the scone was just a bit dry (as scones sometimes are). We sat in the courtyard. It's just the kind of place to go with a good friend and spend an hour or so shooting the breeze.
