Good location near 4th street, so good places to eat are within each walking distance. The lobby is very nice and rich in history. The room was large, but old and tired. Furniture was a bit beat up and the bathroom was tiny with no place to put anything (no vanity or counter space). Since this was business travel, it was fine since I spend just enough time to sleep and change cloths. It is also a bit expensive; if this was personal travel, I would stay somewhere else.

Room Tip: stay away from the elevators they are old and noisy

Super location, price and history. Clean and responsive to customer service. Keep in mind this is a historical property so manage your expectations if you want a modern features... The staff is working hard to maintain the prestige level the hotel is known for...keep it up! Good valet and that is the way to go.

Never would I have imagined such a beautiful property that was actually affordable. The history and artwork of this property is amazing. The Oakroom resturaunt is a must if you want a " feel like royalty" experience. The staff treated us like we actual were royalty. The room was spotless, quiet and super comfortable. We WILL be back. Guys, if you want to sweep her off her feet, this is where to start.

The front desk staff was amazing. The bar could use new staff or training in customer service. The housekeeping lacked consistency, if it got cleaned at all. The food over all was just meh. The food we had in the bar was terrible. The food in the oak room was hit and miss but the waiter was great. Perfect location & room was quiet.

Beautiful hotel. Worth staying there Staff could have been more informed on things going on in the city. Oakroom and Ratskeller beautiful. Bar closed at midnight Kind of early for a Thursdsy night with people in there. Gatsbys for breakfast was was too noisy with TVs blaring. Service was slow if you ordered off menu vs buffet
