Quick spring break trip to the Louisville Zoo. Little chilly and not all the animals were on exhibit nevertheless we had a great time. The zoo is working on a couple of expansion projects and we are anxious to what the finished exhibits look like

Came with absolutely no expectations and left happy as I could be with a zoo. Got to feed giraffes and that tops the whole day. Most exhibits were open and the animals very active. Extremely reasonable price for military and spouse. Definitely somewhere to see whilst in Louisville.

The Louisville Zoo is a great place for families with children of all ages and abilities We love to take our son with autism and developmental disabilities here frequently and everyone is great There are plenty of places to sit and rest, grab a snack, or eat a meal. The gift shop is so good and reasonable that i do a lot of Christmas and birthday shopping here Would definitely recommend a trip here if you are looking for something to do in Louisville

I come from Columbus, Ohio, #1 zoo in the US. I realize I often times have to check myself on expectations for zoos. However with that said, most of the attractions were closed. I feel like our tickets should have been discounted due to it. The kids (11,8,2) were pretty disappointed in the lack of animals to see. There was a ton of construction going on too.

This zoo is very easy to get around. You can do the whole zoo in a day. The train ride around the park is enjoyable. It usually isn't really crowded. We like to go early before any lines do develop. My personal favorite is the monkey/gorilla area.
