Stephen was a wonderful Courtesy driver for us ladies. Made sure we were well cared for, picked up and delivered. Also David took good care of us during the day. Saw wonderful sights and Stephen called to tell us when he would be there to get us. Great experience.

My overall experience here was great; however, the breakfast here is awesome. There are plenty of healthy and nutritious options that are hard to find. I stayed at Springhill Suites, it is connected to Fairfield Inn, the room was spacious and very comfortable. There are washers and dryers available too.

The Fairfield Inn and Suites is paired with a sister property, Springhill Suites, so you'll need to note whose registration desk you'll be approaching.

The registration took a bit longer than we had anticipated especially since we are Marriott members. There were 4 people behind the desk so we don't know if the person who helped us was in training (sorry, we even had trouble understanding her accent or maybe her speech wasn't as clear as to what we are used to).

A separate garage card is required to enter as well as to exit the garage. There is a $17 daily fee for parking.

When we exited the garage with our bags, we entered the door directly in front which turned out to be the Springhill Suites. If your room is in the Fairfield Inn, you can still access your room through the Soringhill side, but you'll have to walk further in to get to the Fairfield elevators. Don't make the mistake of getting into the Springhill Suites elevator like we did as you won't find your room.

We had a corner suite towards the back of the property facing the hospital. There were two spacious, contemporary rooms in a warm, peachy and blue color scheme.

The room came equipped with 2 TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom area. All the amenities were available: microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, hair dryer, and wifi internet. One thing the room lacked was an electric panel with USB ports on the other side of the bed. In fact it would have been nice to have more combination electric outlets/USB ports throughout the suite (rather than just at one side of the bed).

The closet was plenty wide, just in a tight, awkward area next to the bed. We thought the closet door should have been placed on the other side for easier access and so as to not disturb someone who is sleeping.

While the bathroom was mainly clean and spacious with space on the counter for our bathroom supplies, the large walk-in shower tile floor could use a thorough scrubbing, especially in the corners (exterior corners, too). We thought the shower floor had not been replaced during the remodel?

Breakfast of hot and cold food was on par with other properties of similar class. Two things differed from the usual fare: Strawberry and chocolate chip batter were offered for the waffle machines, and the veggie sausage patty was offered, not turkey/pork. The employees were friendly and helpful; everything was neat and clean. One thing that was a nice touch were the electric outlets and USB ports underneath the long tabletop located close to the window wall.

Main Street is walkable but this hotel location is not as close as others. There is a shuttle but we didn't use it as we had a car nor did we ever see one (we only overnighted).

There were panhandlers near the northeastern corner of the hotel property near the interstate offramp. If you plan to leave the hotel property, go left for the restaurants and Main Street.

After breakfast, we mentioned to the front desk that the hallway exit door to the elevator area wouldn't stay opened; this was remedied right away.

When we checked out, front desk staff was friendly and efficient. We mentioned that the outlet plugs on the desk lamp were loose and only intermittently worked. The one thing we forgot to mention was the peeling paint patch on the ceiling as we walked in just beyond the entry left side.

The suite was a nice overnight stay with a few minor issues.
