My fiance turned 50 and we just wanted a room for the weekend. The choice we made was great and location was convenient. The staff was great and the breakfast was nice to. We also went to the Springhill and ate, food was great to. :) I hated we had to pay for parking but that come with downtown hotels so I was ok with it. The staff member Joseph was awesome, he showed a great welcome to us both and even referred some great restaurants. We will return in the future.

Dear Nicole,

What a pleasure to host you for such a wonderful event. I am excited you enjoyed your visit at the Fairfield Inn and thrilled that Joseph was able to help you explore some of Louisville's wonderful original restaurants. Come back again soon, as there are plenty more restaurants we will be pleased to help you discover.

We came to Louisville to visit Kentucky kingdom. They charged us $189 for one night plus $15 to park when the garage was full! The room is decent but I don't understand why the toilet and sink is in a separate room from the shower??? And the lock on the door is broken, thank god for the latch on the door.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Front desk staff were very friendly. It was the most reasonably priced out of all hotels in the downtown area. We were able to walk to the Slugger museum and the ball field, felt very safe. When I made reservations for 3 rooms I requested them to be together, we ended up on 3 separate floors. The swimming pool is more like a lap pool so it gets crowded easily. No waffles on Sunday, eggs and a great potato hash with muffins and bagels. They were a little slow in refilling some items.
Need more parking, drove through the garage once and ended up parking in a permit only spot, which had me a little worried if my car would be there in the morning.

Most people in Louisville are friendly and this was no exception at the Fairfield Inn and Suites.
The free breakfast was very extensive and the staff was always helpful. Coffee and tea were always available along with snacks, sodas, beer, dinners you could microwave but no wine was offered at all. They need to catch up with the rest of the world on offering bottles of wine for sale. There were some problems in my room with the AC, the dripping shower and the slipperiness of the shower stall along with a 'running' toilet however the maintenance man, Don, was excellent in his knowledge of fixing these problems.

Room Tip: Any room away from Jefferson Avenue is better as ambulances go down that street regularly.

Dear Auhualoa,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at the Fairfield Inn Louisville Downtown. I am pleased you enjoyed your stay and our staff offered that famous "southern hospitality". We do have wine for sale, displayed next to our beer offerings. I apologize for the plumbing issues you experienced, but glad Don was able to remedy for you quickly.

Stayed here when attending a show at the Mercury Ballroom. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Onsite parking was easy. Breakfast was simple and tasty. It was an easy walk to restaurants and to 4th Street Live. We will stay here again if in Louisville for the evening.
