Used to be such a busy pub with great home cooked food and a lovely atmosphere... came tonight after a couple of years.. no atmosphere, staff looked bored.. we was the only table left at 9pm in the whole pub... steak was ok and the rest of the food eatable... but won’t return as it seems to be run by owners with no idea what local people want... such a shame another great pub that’s gonna close soon !!

Booked a table at the last minute & was a little apprehensive when on arrival there was less than a handful of customers. Plus side to this was that we could choose where to sit & dine.

Plenty of choice on the menu. We chose a starter & a main. Carrot soup was delicious & hubby said his steak was the nicest he had tasted for a long while.

Staff were welcoming and service was good.

Enjoyed our visit & will look forward to visiting again.

I hear the ownership may have recently changed. Which I hope to be true as this was once a fantastic place for food & service.

I have not returned since experiencing the worst service. It seemed the owner had never worked in the industry before & had no sense of customer service or politeness.

Service was disgraceful & utterly rude. The whole experience was soured for everyone. It's no surprise to see an empty car park whenever I drive past.

What a find! Just left Evesham heading back home to Gloucester and stopped here for tea. Apparently only reopened yesterday. Very friendly with great customer service and the fish and chips? wow! Quality and quantity to be sure. Hope they keep up the high standards, will definitely be coming back

Visited last night and won't be returning again.
Marrowfat peas, microwavef carrots.
We don't complain but felt needed to on this occasion.
Manager seemed surprised when we told her not even any money off a £60 bill.
Terrible will never returned.
