I visited Shaker Village Ky this past week with my elderly mother. Unfortunately, none of the buildings except the restaurant are handicapped accessible. Also, only three buildings were open for touring and the amount of history was scant in both of the buildings. Would be nice to invest in a more comprehensive tour of the entire grounds and have greater amount of historical facts to read in each building. Would be nice to have tour guides dressed in historical clothes to enhance the atmosphere of Shaker traditions. We stayed at one of the Shaker houses and enjoyed the ambience of how the Shaker's really lived. Also, enjoyed the quality of the restaurant on site.
