I have to be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect after reading many reviews about Three Springs Campground, but I was going to give it a shot. So glad I did. The campgrounds are clean, the restrooms and showers are by far the best I have seen, the camper we rented was spotless and the owners beyond helpful. The owners do have guidelines, but what campgrounds don't. The owners have a lot of responsibilities running the grounds and want to make sure their guest are comfortable as well as making sure the grounds are maintained.
From the time I made reservations to the time we left our stay was pleasant. We were able to visit so many surrounding areas within a 15 to 55 minute drive. We went to the Ark Encounter, visited Cincinnati, OH and Lexington, KY. When we just wanted to relax there were pleasant walks in the campgrounds, bluegrass music in the event hall and one camper even gave a concert of his original songs (great musician).
We will visit again and hopefully will be bringing family members in the spring.

Thank you very much for your kind words. We like to treat each guest with respect and hope it shows in everything we do. It does indeed take a lot of work to keep up with a place this size, but when we read reviews like yours it makes all of our hard work worth it! See you again next time, can't wait to meet the rest of your family. Happy camping!!!

I would not recommend this campsite to anyone, Walnut trees every where, you could not even sit out by the ring camp fire for the walnuts falling and hitting you in the head, during the night walnuts was falling hitting the top of your camper, it was a muddy hole in the area we had our RV backed into. The pond is in really bad shape with green goop all over the top of it,

Robbie,
We are sorry that your stay was not what you expected. Yes, we do have Black Walnut trees in the RV section that are producing nuts this time of year. Apparently, we are getting our "Bumper Crop" this year due to a bad upcoming winter season, per the Farmer's Almanac. Usually, we do not have walnuts falling because the grey squirrels collect them right off the limbs for their winter storage, but every 7 years we will get a Bumper Crop to help the park's wildlife survive a bad winter. I am sorry that your plans aligned with the Fall Season's trees producing this large amount of nuts. We are looking into how to prepare the park for this event in the coming 7 years before it happens again. Luckily, all the nuts are now on the ground (and collected by the squirrels) so no more falling nuts! Happy campin' and God bless...

We were told we were not allowed to touch the thermostat without prior authorization. Owner told us we did not need to turn it up and the camper would stay heated. Woke up to under 50 degrees in the camper. Did not apologize the next day and continued to make excuses.

I am sorry that you misunderstood what I was saying when I checked you into the camper rental. I simply meant that it is not nesseccary to set the thermostat to 90* to warm it up, then back down to 70*, then back up again. In the past, we have had campers empty the propane tanks in one or two nights by playing with the thermostat constantly. Setting it at 68* will keep the campers comfortably warm and help offset the expense of refilling the propane tanks.
I will simply print a set of instructions and post on the wall next to the thermostat so no future campers awake to a cold camper. Sorry for the inconvenience this caused you. Thank you for staying with us regardless.

As a family with children from 7 to 15 yo, two items at the top of the list are pool and wi-fi. We loved the clean and fresh pool! Wi-fi was intermittent in the evening but better in the morning. They have these unique frogs that eat 3 times their body weight in bugs - makes for almost bug-free evenings! There is a narrow road and mighty steep incline to get to the place but the owners are nice, showers are clean and the lots are level with nice fire pits. We felt welcome and enjoyed our stay!

Thank you for staying with us! Yes, our little tree frogs are a wonderful and welcome resident in the park! They love to eat mosquito larva and adults, which definitely makes for almost bug-free nights. Thank you for your remarks about the pool as we try hard to make it as clean as possible during our busy season. It's nice to have our hard work noticed and appreciated! Happy campin' and God bless!!!

We were passing through on I 75 and just needed a quick in and out overnight. Rachael was amazing! She had a spot all set so we didn't have to even unhook which saved so much time in the morning. The campground is well shaded. We arrived late and didn't have any trouble finding it. Again, Rachael was very helpful with that. In the morning showers were very clean and plenty of room. We would definitely recommend this campground and greatly appreciate Rachael's assistance. We will be back.
