I booked this property for it's proximity to the NCAA tournament venue. But once on site, I was happy with everything about the hotel. My room was very clean, the bed extremely comfortable, the TV was great, but the best thing about my stay were the people that worked there. The guys working the front desk at night helped me to change my reservation (my team lost) and the girls working the desk in the morning were very friendly and helpful. The Guest Service Manager, Nic Yoxall, took care of me big time. Totally professional and gracious.
The breakfast fare was typical but there was plenty of space. Waiting in the bar area watching the games on multiple TV's was comfortable with nice complimentary snacks. The gentleman working the bar was cool as well. Maybe people are just nicer in Kansas. The only negative was the TV remotes didn't have a sleep timer function. It's just something I'm used to. If it ever happens that I'm back in Wichita, I would definitely stay here again.More
