Owner description: This island has some of the best diving and snorkeling in Queensland.

This was a blissful experience slowly sailing out to the island on a 44' catamaran.
We had dolphins and whales all around us at various times, the entry channel is very narrow and sometimes you have to wait your turn if a whale decides to scratch its belly in the inlet. (Yes this did happen) once inside there is plenty of snorkeling to do and the water is nice and warm (mid July). You can go ashore and explore the island the birds are very loud but pleasant to hear. Is a great spot to watch a sunset and sunrise while enjoying a cool drink.

We spent 3 days camping on this island and it was absolutely great! The reef is stunning, many turtles, sharks, coral and fish!

The island is full of turtles (we were there in December 2016) and birds (do not expect quiet nights). The island ranger was absolutely great and runs "turtle sessions" every night - make sure you will join it. To be on the island without fresh water shower was a bit challenging, but it's still magnificent experience.

We used "Lady Musgrave Experience" tour to get to the island and it was good. Food wasn't great, but we enjoyed morning tea snacks. Staff was nice. There should be a recommendation to get seasick pills, because sea was quite rough and the whole boat was sick (it doesn't smell very good).

The reef is absolutely stunning and you will love corals and fish!
